Copper alloy tubesheet
A tubesheet holds and positions the tubes of a condenser or exchanger bundle. Like finned tube, it isn't a partner-stock form: it is sourced exclusively from the mill.
Request a quoteWhat is a tubesheet?
A tubesheet is a thick plate, drilled to a precise pitch, that holds the ends of the tubes in a condenser or exchanger bundle and separates the shell and tube circuits. Its grade is usually matched to the tubes it receives to limit galvanic coupling.
How to choose it?
This product is defined entirely from the customer's bundle drawing: drilling pattern, tube count, thickness. There is no standard dimension to pick from a catalogue — the plate is made to order for each bundle.
Available grades
Grade usually matches the bundle's tubes — cupronickel or brass depending on the Metal Alloys Corporation mill catalogue.
Applicable standards

Partner stock or mill?
We go through the mill when volume and lead time make sense — typically container-load quantities, sometimes less, with a lead time of a few months including transport. That arbitration is ours to make: when buying at source works out cheaper for you, we say so.
This form isn't part of partner stock: it is sourced exclusively from the mill, from the partner mill's verified catalogue.
Frequently asked questions
- Why isn't the tubesheet available from partner stock?
- Because it is made to the exact drawing of each bundle — drilling pattern, thickness, tube count — it isn't an item that can be standardised in stock.
- What is the lead time for a tubesheet?
- The mill timeline applies, as for finned tubes — a few months including transport, to confirm based on the drawing supplied.
- Can I order the tubesheet and finned tubes together?
- Yes, that is even the most common case — send the full bundle drawing in a single quote request.
- Must the tubesheet grade match the tubes exactly?
- Usually yes, to limit galvanic coupling between parts in contact — SPS checks compatibility with the mill before confirming.
