Who is stainless tube distribution for?
Four concrete situations: the maintenance team with a plant down that needs a reference within 48 hours, the engineering office that has specified a grade no general stockist carries, the fabricator who only needs three metres, and the buyer who wants one contact for a forty-line bill of materials rather than ten different suppliers.
Where do you stand on standard 304L and 316L?
Our European supply agreements cover the everyday grades too: 304L and 316L, welded and seamless, on negotiated terms rather than resale terms. The advantage is clearest on seamless, where the difference in access to partner stock feeds straight through to price and lead time.
Which grades, products and sizes do you cover?
All nine families of stainless and special alloy grades, in welded and seamless tube, heat exchanger tube, fittings, flanges and bar. On 316L for instance, partner stock covers Ø 6 to Ø 610 mm — exact ranges vary by grade and product, to be checked case by case at enquiry stage.
What is the full package?
It is the central argument of SPS distribution: instead of canvassing one supplier per line of the bill of materials, you send the complete list — tube, fittings, flanges, bar, mixed grades — to a single contact, who canvasses partner stock and comes back with one price and one lead time for the whole thing.
Where do the 5-day and 48-hour lead times come from?
The 5 working day standard runs from order confirmation on a reference available in partner stock; the 48-hour urgent service applies to references already identified as priority. A non-standard length, a special finish or an enhanced certificate can extend it — we tell you at enquiry stage, never afterwards.
How do I get a firm price quickly?
Send the grade, the dimensions (outside diameter, wall thickness, length), the quantity, the expected product standard, the material certificate required and the surface finish. The more complete the enquiry, the faster the answer — same day on a simple one.

- Is there a minimum order quantity?
- No: distribution covers a single metre as readily as a multi-tonne order, with no minimum.
- Does the price include the material certificate?
- The EN 10204 3.1 material certificate is supplied as standard, the 3.2 on request. See the Quality and certifications page for how the document trail is put together.
- Do you deliver outside Europe?
- On specific request outside Europe — to be stated in the quotation request.
- Can I order a non-standard length?
- Yes, and it is one of the cases where SPS distribution is worth the most: non-catalogue lengths, U-bends, one-off pieces. Describe what you need in the quotation request.
