Most grade-selection tables start from the material. This one starts from the service: you describe your environment, temperature, chloride level and dominant constraint, and it applies a readable, auditable rule matrix rather than a statistical model. It also tells you what it excludes and why — a discarded grade is often more instructive than a recommended one.
Frequently asked questions
- Why is this tool only in French?
- It was built for the French site first. The English translation of its question wording and rule matrix is scheduled as its own piece of work, not yet done. Grade names, standards and PREN values are identical in both languages — only the questionnaire's wording is French.
